F A O coin

Purpose of issue 

To celebrate 50 years of Food and Agriculture Organisation (F A O). 

Central design 

A hand holding a bundle of wheat and barley with the FAO crest stamped on the back of the hand. 

Inscription 

The 50 years span 1945 - 1995 below the central design. 

Khadya ebam krushi sangathan on top half of the periphery. 

Food and agriculture organisation in the bottom half of the periphery.
