Purpose of issue 

To celebrate Reserve Bank of India's 75th anniversary. 

Central design. 

A lion advancing in the left with a palm tree in the background which is the logo of RBI.


 Inscription. 

Platinum jubilee in English and Hindi  below the logo. 

Reserve Bank of India on the right periphery. 

Bharatiya reserve bank on the left periphery. 

The year span 1935 - 2010 below.
